Dr Anne-Carlijn (Anneke) Merry
MBBS, DCH
Dr Merry graduated with honours from Erasmus University, Rotterdam in 2007. She has previously worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Prince Charles Hospital and former Royal Children's Hospital where she gained experience in a number of fields before transitioning to work in general practice.
Dr Anneke has a special interest in women's health, ranging from contraception (including IUDs) to menopause and everything in between. She also takes an interest in children's health, having gained her Diploma of Child Health from Westmead Hospital in Sydney, as well as antenatal care and chronic disease management.
Ensuring patients are well educated about their own health and all available management options is at the core of what she believes in. Dr Merry loves supporting her patients through the ups and downs of their health journeys.
Outside of work, Dr Anneke enjoys spending time with her family, including her 3 children.
Dr Merry speaks fluent English and Dutch.
